Misty-Retired Queen

Hi I am Misty Blue,
I am very shy! It will take some patience and TLC for me to open up. I would purrfer that I am an only cat with a female person. I don't like men much. (Misty may have been treated roughly by a man when she was a kitten). I need to be kept in a small kennel at first or a bathroom, until I warm up to my person I want to hear your voice and smell your smell.  I am not a big fan of being picked up, it will be better if I come to you. Once I know I am safe, I will be able to come out of my hiding place and say hi. I am a talker and will answer to my name. I love to rub my head agaist your hand and purr. When I am comfortable, I may jump on your lap and let you rub my head or scritch my chin. I might sit next to you and gradulally move closer to you. Eventually, I will trust that you love me and I will happily sleep on your bed and crawl up to your chest for a pet and a purr then snuggle in to sleep.
